Position Summary

This position is primarily responsible for cross referencing information on B3 and recaps to ensure data entered matches the provided documentation.

Key Responsibilities (Supervisory/Materials/Information)

  • Compare data from invoices provided at time of release to data entered on B3 to ensure accuracy
  • Review provided documentation to ensure it is complete and correct; follow up with external sources as needed.
  • Kick back entries with errors and corrections to Across Release Agent who completed data entry
  • Bring discrepancies/missing information on documentation to the attention of Raters, including NAFTA issues
  • Ensure all entries with a duty payout have been brought to the attention of Raters
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Education and Experience

  • High School education or equivalent
  • A minimum of one year of brokerage experience
Competencies, Working Skills & Attributes

  • Excellent judgement skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Time management and great organizational skills are required
Working Conditions, Mental Effort & Physical Requirements

  • Repetitive keyboarding, writing and / or mousing
  • Sitting for a prolonged period of time viewing computer screen and documents
  • The ability to multitask while dealing with frequent interruptions
  • May be required to work the occasional statutory holiday
