Essential job functions:


Operations:

  • Ensuring the smooth running of our community in a fastpaced environment. Overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.
  • Oversee daytoday operations of entire onsite team, ensuring that all Rhapsody policies and procedures are being followed
  • Manage and maintain all aspects of overall community budget and finances.
  • Work with leasing staff to ensure that leasing/marketing goals are being met.
  • Coordinate special projects as required.

Service Excellence:

  • Providing Best-InClass service and communication to our residents and prospects, enhancing resident satisfaction leading to an increase in renewals and company reputation.
  • Maintain a positive living environment for community resident through prompt conflict resolution and consistent followup.
  • Develop and foster positive relations with all community vendors.
  • Driving revenues with your thorough understanding and analysis of competition and development of creative marketing programs and resident events.

People development:

  • Developing, mentoring and leading a highperforming, cohesive team, in order to maximize their engagement and minimize turnover.
  • Leading by example, instilling and modeling the Rhapsody mission to be the best national management company.
  • Ensure team is up to do date on mandatory and legislative training initiatives.

Education and Experience:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required, postsecondary or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of related Property Management experience.
  • 23 years financial experience writing and maintaining budgets.
  • Experience in supervisory role, leading and developing teams.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills and experience with Yardi is considered an asset.
  • Functional knowledge of various Social Media tools and best practices.
  • Previous experience as a Property Administrator, financial reports and budgets is considered an asset.
