Talan Canada is growing and looking to strengthen its teams with Application Support Analysts for the Montréal office, able to work with clients in several industries.

Job Description:


Tasks

  • Act as a point of contact (Level 2 and up) for end users regarding issues and upgrade requests.
  • Manage alerts for resolution and escalate issues
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in conjunction with the infrastructure and development teams
  • Prioritize and manage multiple issues at once
  • Identify, propose and implement improvements to allow for a more efficient use of resources

You will work in various technical environments:

  • SQL and databases (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase)
  • Development language: Java, C#/.Net, C++, Python, Shell/Bash
  • Windows/Unix environments
  • On-Premises and Cloud architectures (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google GCP), WebServices and API integration (REST)
  • Agile development methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, Service Now, Github / Gitlab)
  • ITIL processes.

Qualifications:


  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Application Support
  • Curious, good analytical, synthesis and organizational skills
  • Advanced technical skills on SQL and Unix in particular
  • Excellent oral communication and adaptation skills
  • Advanced level of English required
