The EdTech Associate provides support for a wide range of Medical Education initiatives and activities including live and virtual customer events, workshops, conferences, and webinars.

They will work closely with the EdTech Manager to ensure that the clinical educational content for the franchise exceeds the needs of key healthcare stakeholders and drive adoption of the product portfolio as well as bolster the franchise's reputation as the best in the industry for clinical focus and knowledge dissemination.


Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Working alongside the MedTech manager and meeting planners, support the development and execution of a comprehensive medical education event strategy. Provide superb customer service for all event participants and work collaboratively to resolve any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, to integrate impactful medical education training events using innovative digital tools and platforms. With a focus on each businesses' overall marketing strategies and imperatives.
  • Manage the relationship with the vendor responsible for the administrative and logístical support of medical education events. Monitor vendor performance and provide guidance to ensure events are executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage all payments and contracts related to the Franchises. Provide cross coverage when required.
  • Conduct postevent evaluations to continuously improve event processes and measure the impact of medical education events on the Franchise's overall goals and objectives.
  • Work collaboratively as an active member of the Scientific and Professional Affairs team to stay up to date on the latest trends and best practices in medical education events and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Create and manage a project management system to track the progress of all sponsorships and ensure compliance.

Qualifications:


Minimum Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Education, Event Planning, Science or related field.

Experiences and skills


Required Years of Related Experience:

5+ years in a support role with a strong focus on event management and execution. Healthcare compliance and/or relevant business experience is an asset.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • Minimum of one year experience managing digital platforms, required.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to develop and implement comprehensive event strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with key healthcare stakeholders
  • Minimum of one year experience managing cross functional partners and external vendor relationships. Provide guidance and oversight to ensure the efficient and effective execution of events, asset.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, fastpaced deadlinedriven environment
  • Strong digital acumen including event management tools and platforms
  • Experience managing contracts as well as experience with payments and budget management.
  • French Bilingualism considered an asset

Percentage Traveled:

25% domestic and North American travel.
