We are looking for a Salesforce DevOps Specialist who wants to join a team that works hard, has fun, and makes a difference in the market.

Responsibilities:
- Create, modify and maintain of CI/CD pipeline based on project and operational requirements
- Provide recommendations for code branching strategies to ensure integrity of development pipeline
- Perform all releases, strictly adhering to the team's Software Development Lifecycle and definition of done
- Perform any necessary rollbacks and assists in troubleshooting where release is deemed to be root cause of a service affecting incident
- Create and maintain automated regression tests using the devops tooling
- Work with teams on defect detection
- Prepare all Salesforce product releases including identifying timing, working with Product Owner to schedule activities around testing compatibility and prepares environments to comply with release cycles
- Work with InfoSec to ensure any DevSecOps expectations are met within the pipeline
- Ensure that backup and recovery strategies and procedures are in place, tested and documented for the platform (DR & BCP strategies)
- Ensure backups are performed
- Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades.
- Carry out deployments and support the platform.
- Participate in various Agile/Scrum meetings including participation in estimation and ensuring quality of user stories and tasks to meet expected outcomes.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Software Engineering or a combination of education and equivalent work experience. 2 + years of experience in a comparable role
- Experience with respect to Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
- Experience with GearSet, Copado or a similar DevOps enablement tool used for Salesforce
- Demonstrated experience with respect to code branching practices
- Knowledge of Vlocity (Salesforce Industries products) is preferred
- Experience with automated test suite products
- Solid understanding of operational best practices with respect to DR and BCP strategies
- Demonstrated experience delivering products in Agile/Scrum mode.
Additional Knowledge /Skill Requirements:
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps tooling (GearSet, Copado, etc) and processes
- Fluent with Vlocity employed development methods and techniques data raptors and omniscripting an asset.
- Understanding APIs, REST, and SOAP services is an asset.
- Ability to interpret existing code for the purpose of detecting potential conflicts and troubleshooting between environments to resolution.
- Strong analytical, problemsolving, and planning skills.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills; can effectively communicate with a nontechnical audience.
