Currently, we seek motivated and mechanically inclined individuals for our manufacturing locations.

CNC Machine Operator, Shirley Drive, Kitchener DAY

DAY - Monday - Thursday 7am-4pm, Friday 7am-3pm

Responsibilities include:

Loading and unloading parts in machine safely and efficiently.

Checking tolerances with measuring equipment for quality assurance.

Completing and documenting required quality checks and inspections.

Polishing and washing any parts during cycle.

Cleaning and upkeep of machine and surrounding work area.

Ensures continuity between shifts through clear and complete documentation of actions, irregularities and continuing needs.

Any other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

Previous 2 years' experience as a CNC Operator a definite asset
Ability to use measuring equipment
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively and efficiently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Fanuc/Haas controls, Brothers, Matsuura mills an asset

Physical Demands:

Required to carry out routine, repetitive tasks such as reaching, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, lifting, packing, stacking, bending, climbing / descending / going under or on equipment as well as some physical lifting.

Regularly exposed to noise, temperature change and lubricants and vibration.

Wears all PPE as required.
