Description
Schlossky Immigration Solutions Inc. is looking for a part-time (20 hrs per week) Immigration Assistant to join our quickly growing team. You will work out of our Robson St. office.

What we are looking for:

Knowledge of Canadian immigration is essential for this position.

You have a minimum of 1-2 year(s) experience in a similar role:

Completion of the Immigration Practitioner Program or current students enrolled in the Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law:

  • Have an interest in Canadian Immigration and like to stay up-to-date on the latest news
  • Proactive, selfstarter, you can work with little supervision but also work well in a team environment
  • You work well in a fastpaced environment, you work well under pressure and are good at prioritizing tasks
  • You have a college diploma or a bachelors degree
  • You have excellent communication and writing skills in English (good grammar and spelling are a must)
  • Spanish speaking is considered an asset

Your duties:


  • Stay up to date on immigration news and updates
  • Provide general information to current and potential clients regarding the services we offer
  • Assist our immigration consultant in filling forms, drafting letters and drafting submissions
  • Creating and updating internal checklists and forms as needed
  • Perform other general and administrative duties as required

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 20 per week


Salary:
From $18.00 per hour
