Responsibilities:
- Able to analyze equipment malfunctions, repair and maintain company equipment Inspect and perform diagnostics on equipment
- Qualified to efficiently repair hydraulic equipment
- Able to dismantle and reassemble large company truck equipment
- Maintain history of all equipment service records and logs.
- Detailed, organized and safety conscious
- Dependable and punctual
- Able to use electronic diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot repairs
- All supplies and consumables provided by the company
- Able to perform repairs in different environmental settings such as in repair shop or on a job site
Requirements:
- Completion of college/vocational or technical training
- Minimum 25 years' experience as a Heavy Equipment field mechanic
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment
- Experience with routine maintenance operations
- Own tools
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
- Produce a clean drivers abstract
- Willingness to work in all types of weather and temperatures
- Willingness to work assigned night or day shifts, with the flexibility to work long shifts
- Be physically fit and able to lift up to 30 kg.
- Ability to communicate with supervisors, coworkers, contractors, and the public in a courteous, professional manner at all times.
