Edmonton Integrated Services (EIS) is currently looking for an individual in Edmonton to open his or her home and become a
Support Home Operator (SHO) for two individuals with developmental disabilities,
in the Spruce Grove/Stony Plain area. The Individuals require access to public transit.

Position Summary:

The Support Home Operator (SHO) will be subcontracted to provide support to
two individuals with a developmental disability in
your home by promoting and encouraging life skills and development.

The Support Home Operator (SHO) provides support in all activities of daily living which may include, but not limited to, budgeting, laundry, household management, hygiene and making/attending medical appointments, planning and preparing healthy meals, and providing emotional support and opportunities for recreation and leisure activities.

The subcontractor/SHO will be given a monthly stipend and boarding fee for the services provided and for sharing his or her home to the individual/s accessing service._
