Descripción del rol:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the reviews, checking and verification are undertaken for all the design.
- Perform 2nd party design audit on all the designs with all designers.
- Initiate opportunity for improvement (OFI) and Non-Conformance Report for all findings during the audit / reviews.
- Prepare, Update Design Quality Management Plan (DQMP).
- Coordinate with designer's quality managers and ensure that the constructability review and design interface are being done.
- Work with OTG design department and the designers to ensure that the design certificate are being submitted to the client in a timely manner.
- Attend design development and project meetings.
- All other audit related duties as assigned.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Documentation and reporting skills.
- Teamwork and collaboration.
- Comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time.
Qualifications:
- Be a civil / structural Engineer registered with Professional Engineers Ontario.
- Certified as quality professionals from certifying bodies as a minimum successful completion of an ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Training Course.
- Experience overseeing the quality of the design of a project within the field of rail and transit, transportation and infrastructure.
Organizational Relationships:
- Reports directly to the Quality Director or designee.
- Assists and works in conjunction with the Quality Team and other departments for the successful delivery of the project.
- The job is mostly performed indoors in a traditional office setting. Occasional field trips outside of office may be required.
