PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following are the main job responsibilities and priorities for this position:
- Diligently processes Requisitions to ensure purchase orders are sent in a timely manner to maintain on-time delivery to Internal MacDon (Non-production or Parts) customers.
- Maintains supplier acknowledgements and confirms supply.
- Highlights and elevates any supply risks to Procurement Specialist or Supply Chain Manager.
- Administers returns for rework, replacement or credit.
- Sets up and maintains vendor files in JDE (MRP system).
- Updates reports and PowerBi Applications as needed. (Training provided)
- Orders and maintains lunch room supplies and provide coffee and water service for boardroom meetings upon request.
- Supports cost saving initiatives through tracking and identification of opportunities.
- Meets and greets incoming suppliers and maintains sign in book and security badges as required.
- Answers and directs incoming phone calls as required.
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
- Two years administration experience essential.
- Manufacturing and/or Procurement experience advantageous.
- Relevant post secondary education.
Skills and Knowledge
- Working knowledge of MRP advantageous.
- Word, Excel and Outlook knowledge essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Monday to Friday
