Job Summary

Specific Duties and Responsibilities including but without limiting the following:

  • PLC/HMI/SCADA program development and testing primarily on Schneider Electric/Modicon/SCADA Packs/Real Flo/Proface
  • PLC/HMI/SCADA testing, commissioning, and occasional field service (up to 20% travel)
  • Create and update technical documentation (control logic, programming narratives, test procedures, user manual, install, commissioning, etc.)
  • Provide support to IT project team and operations
  • Interface with third party technology partners and vendors to plan and develop integrations
  • Interface with internal and external IT project and operations teams
  • Develop and maintain data mapping and communication standards and practices
  • Reference, create and update technical documentation
  • Compliance with quality and safety management requirements

Qualifications

  • 34 Years industrial control system programming
  • PLC programming experience in Schneider Electric (Modicon) using Unity/ EcoStruxure
  • HMI/SCADA programming experience with Schneider Electric (Geo SCADA / Clear SCADA), Proface
  • Excellent ability to master new skills and adapt to technologies swiftly
  • Can excel in planning, prioritizing, and working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently as well as in team environments as necessary
  • Experience with onsite commissioning and startup
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English, Spanish an asset
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical and organizational skills
  • Must have valid Canadian Drivers License
