Your opportunity
We are looking for a Dental Assistant for a Full
- time position to join our enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate team at our practice in Nipigon.


Job responsibilities:
⦁ Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care and support in consultation with individuals and their families
⦁ Respect and protect the rights of clients, including but not limited to their right to independence, autonomy, and self-determination; their right to choose and practice individual values, beliefs, religion, and culture; their right to privacy and dignity
⦁ Use effective interpersonal skills to communicate complex and sensitive information
⦁ Maintain work area cleanly and professionally at all times, ensuring proper tools and equipment are available when needed strictly following IPAC and RCDSO guidelines
⦁ Monitor patient progress, keeping records, charts, reports, etc. up to date
⦁ Provide direct and comprehensive care and assistance to patients with specialized and complex needs
⦁ Provide education and counseling to patients and families
⦁ Prepare and submit accurate reports, records, and charts

Your experience and Education

⦁ You are detail-oriented, organized, and like working in a professional environment
⦁ You have recently graduated from an accredited program or have a high school diploma and complete the required amount of work experience (Previous dental experience is considered an asset)

Job Types:

Salary:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour

Experience:

Dental Assisting: 1 year (preferred)
