Description

Forklift Operator contributes to the customer success by picking product and creating an accurate load for transport and bulk delivery trucks.


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Works using voice pick to build loads for bulk and Geo delivery trucks, using a walkie rider or forklift
  • Strict attention to detail to ensure all pallets/loads are built correctly
  • Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas
  • Perform all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner
  • Responsible for maintaining the stability of the pallet by proper/logical stacking and shrink wrapping the built pallet
  • Responsible for ensuring all paperwork is completed to standard
  • Follow the direction of the Product Availability Supervisor and Warehouse Leadhands.
  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 60lbs
  • Must be able to lift/carry 2040lbs repetitively

Job Types:
Part-time, Casual, Seasonal


Salary:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evenings
  • Morning shift
  • On call

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Burnaby, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Forklift: 1 year (preferred)
