tentree is a lifestyle apparel company based out of Vancouver, Canada that plants ten trees for every item purchased.

By combining social and environmental consciousness with apparel, we empower our customers to have a direct impact on saving the planet through intentional purchasing.

We are looking for a talented Video Content Creator to join our team. Reporting to the Content Manager, you will be responsible for visual storytelling from ideation to execution.

With a detailed focus on film and interactive media software, you will own projects while collaborating with the greater Creative Marketing team to develop and produce unique and strategically driven video assets across a range of social media platforms.

What will you be doing?

You will work closely with the Creative Manager and Copywriter on creative strategy, storyboarding, and script outlines.
You will be responsible for developing informative and engaging content from concept to postproduction.
You will film and edit videos, from longform video to shortform and quick cuts, for directtoconsumer and social media ads.
You will enhance the mood and theme of film through colour correction and colour grading while providing inventive methods for dealing with picture issues.
You will make recommendations for technical and creative direction regarding location, appropriate lighting, shooting angles, placement and type of microphones, as well as other audio and production issues.
You will participate in scheduling production, camera, and editing time while ensuring equipment, visuals, and staffing needs are met.
You will execute all postproduction steps to deliver high quality professional videos including assembly edits, audio mixing, motion graphics, and compression for delivery.
You will ensure visual cohesiveness and consistency across channels.
You will be responsible for maintaining digital assets, including archiving and tagging.
You will oversee the security, operation, and maintenance of tentree equipment utilized for shooting and editing.
You will maintain creative and technical standards for film that remain consistent with the overall brand.
You will provide technical support and direction for live presentations and special events that broadcast audio/video.
You will evaluate our current practices in an effort to keep our social strategy fresh and research various platforms for popular trends and industry news.

Requirements:

Professional Requirements_
3+ years professional experience with the full scope of film production support
Professional experience in operating camera stabilization devices including fluid head tripods, sliders, jibs, Steadicam/Glidecam stabilizers, and drones
Experience with composition, storyboarding, lighting, and sound design
Experience with colour correction and colour grading
Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects
Personal Strengths_
Highly creative with excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
Strong time management and organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities at once
Comfortable with receiving and providing constructive feedback
Selfstarter who enjoys working independently as well as within a collaborative environment
Energetic and positive personality that can uplift the attitude of others is an asset
Ability to work occasional evenings/weekends and travel with mínimal notice may be required
