Inner City Diesel Ltd. (ICD Group) is a privately owned, First Nations company that is actively growing its workforce and services across Canada. We are currently looking for a Parts Technician to join our growing team in Fort McMurray


PARTS TECHNICIAN
Some duties required for this position include, but not limited to:

  • Take orders from customers and give ETA
  • Keep track of consignment parts
  • Keep track of core parts
  • Organizes and ships exchange parts and returns
  • Keeps price lists and catalogues updated
  • Prepares statements
  • Maintains records.


This is a five (5) day on and two (2) day off position, working Ten (10) hours a day, at the ICD main shop which is located on Robertson Road.


Key Skills and Experience Requirements:
- strong verbal communication skills
- comprehensive experience with HD equipment parts and accessories
- comprehensive inventory management experience
- proficient math skills
- speak, read, write, and comprehend English proficiently to ensure effective communication with employees and customers
- proficiently use a computer and MS Office 365, including Excel, Word, etc.
- pay careful attention to details such as parts catalogues and electronic inventory system
- complete the full cycle parts ordering, ensuring orders are correct and charged on shop work orders, receiving orders, putting parts orders away, etc.
- ensure that back ordered parts are delivered in a timely manner to fill orders, as well as notifying the appropriate individuals of the process and/or timeline(s)
- assist with completing parts and work order estimates
- able to meet deadlines
- do all other duties as required.

- parts management: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Red Seal Parts (preferred)
  • Journeyperson Parts (preferred)
