Minimum qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience building cloud platforms and distributed systems at enterprisescale.

Preferred qualifications:


  • Experience in product management and strategy.
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code/Declarative Configuration, data, UX, developer experience, engineering effectiveness, user research, developer tools, distributed systems, thirdparty developer tooling ecosystem.
  • Ability to deliver products that drive customer success and market leadership.
  • Ability to deliver successfully within pressing timelines.
  • Excellent customer engagement and understanding of needs and opportunities for Google Cloud.

The British Columbia base salary range for this full-time position is CAD 147,000-175,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead product efforts for Google Cloud Platforms (GCPs) Terraform Provider and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Lead research and map core user journeys across the IaC landscape, both to understand where we are today as well as where the gaps and strategic opportunities exist.
  • Define GCPs declarative configuration/IaC strategy and roadmap.
  • Partner with thirdparty ISVs to coinnovate and to create paths that seamlessly flow between GCP and thirdparty experiences.
  • Work closely with crossorganization/crossfunctional partners to align strategies, user experience, information experience, prioritization, and resourcing.
