Description

We are seeking a part-time File Clerk to join our team to assist with File management, storage, digital file storage and reception coverage. This is a physically demanding position which will require regular lifting to height.

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail;
Superior interpersonal skills to interact with other staff members, lawyers, and clients;
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and handle sensitive information and circumstances tactfully;
Ability to work independently and without supervision, and to take initiative;
Reliability and a strong attendance record;
Strong computer skills;
Experience with Esi-Law software an asset.

Responsibilities will include:

Opening and Closing files;
Retrieving and returning closed files to storage;
Maintenance of file closing details;
Digitization of files;
Attend to reception coverage;
Must be able to demonstrably meet the physical demands of the role including lifting heavy file boxes to height, loading and unloading files from storage, and refiling files in accurate order.

A resume which outlines how your skills, qualifications, and experience will meet the requirements of the position; and

Please note this is an
in-person position at our office in Old Strathcona with no remote work component.
