Lead Business System Analyst


What is the opportunity?

What will you do?

  • Be a handson business analyst on an agile project
  • Manage overall BSA activities for a medium to large project
  • Work with product owners to define priorities and sprint plan
  • Ensure user stories are created and groomed
  • Facilitate sprint planning sessions.
  • Understand the requirements and write detailed specifications.
  • Participate in UX design with the product owner and UX designer.
  • Work closely with the developers and QE to ensure that the product is built correctly.
  • Create additional documentation or other artefacts to add to the stories for better understanding
  • Suggest and promote BSA best practices

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a Sr. BSA/BA.
  • Familiarity with Agile concepts and is well versed with writing User Stories
  • Pertinent technically skills to be able to query databases, execute APIs in tools like Postman/Swagger, effectively use tools like Jira, Confluence, Mural, LucidChart etc.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to define, influence and impact the technical direction
  • Ability to facilitate between and influence key decision makers

Nice-to-have

  • Financial industry/Wealth Management/Account Opening exposure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses
