Lead Business System Analyst
What is the opportunity?
What will you do?
- Be a handson business analyst on an agile project
- Manage overall BSA activities for a medium to large project
- Work with product owners to define priorities and sprint plan
- Ensure user stories are created and groomed
- Facilitate sprint planning sessions.
- Understand the requirements and write detailed specifications.
- Participate in UX design with the product owner and UX designer.
- Work closely with the developers and QE to ensure that the product is built correctly.
- Create additional documentation or other artefacts to add to the stories for better understanding
- Suggest and promote BSA best practices
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a Sr. BSA/BA.
- Familiarity with Agile concepts and is well versed with writing User Stories
- Pertinent technically skills to be able to query databases, execute APIs in tools like Postman/Swagger, effectively use tools like Jira, Confluence, Mural, LucidChart etc.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to define, influence and impact the technical direction
- Ability to facilitate between and influence key decision makers
Nice-to-have
- Financial industry/Wealth Management/Account Opening exposure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses
