Training

  • Tracking all completed training and active certifications, and managing the recertification schedule for all employees;
  • Managing the safety portion of the onboarding program for all new employees;
  • Become a certified "trainthetrainer" for various field related certifications, and host regular training sessions (MEWP, Forklift, Boom, Fallpro, Confined Space, Fit Test, etc).
  • In partnership with Human Resources, tracking and managing all safety related infractions and ensuring relevant training is provided;
  • Managing returntowork program;
  • Partnering with the Technical Support Manager to identify safety related training needs and specialized training topics and opportunities.

Additionally, managing and customer related safety documentation and providing certificates of insurance where necessary.
  • Partnering with Operations Managers and performing regular site visits to ensure our teams have the required PPE, training, support, and certifications to execute projects and service requirements safely;

Inspections/Audits/Reporting

  • Regular FLRA Audits and safety equipment audits (harness inspection and calibration, respirator fit and condition, etc);
