Description
We currently have an opportunity for a Human Resources Operations Manager to join our HR team.The selected individual will be responsible for managing the HR Operations including day-to-day tactical and strategic guidance on HR initiatives, practices, and policies and procedures for the employee services aspects of the employee life cycle.
Job ResponsibilitiesHR Function Assistance for EMT:
Manage the employee life cycle from hire through termination including assistance with Employee Relations.
Oversight on HR Admin Role:
Assistance with any HR Admin functions:
Oversight and assessment of HR Processes & Systems such as:
Leave Process Management
Contract review
Payroll
Employee Life Cycle
HR Sharepoint
Templates and Guides:
Business Connections:
Monthly connections with Business and Department leaders
NAT group assistance
Work with HRA's on delivering manager trainings and resources
Work alongside Director of ER, Director of Licensing & HR Compliance, and VP of HR to ensure consistency with direction and priority tasks
Compliance:
Ensure that all human resources practices are in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, company standards and values
Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting Human Resources functions and maintaining compliance with all provincial, federal and labor laws
Job Requirements
2+ years' experience in a Human Resources role
Make administrative and procedural decisions and demonstrate judgment on sensitive, confidential matters
Demonstrated project management skills
Highly effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
Experience with HRIS & Talent Management systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Insurance agency or carrier experience preferred but is not required.
Demonstrates employee-centric orientation by championing their needs and energizing the team to provide outstanding client service
Strong developer of talent; proactively creates opportunities to coach, mentor, and create development opportunities for team members
Proficiency with payroll, time and attendance, and HRIS and talent management systems. (Workday and Kronos preferred).
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
