About the Opportunity:


Reporting to the Manager, Planning & Development, the Operations Consultant (Practice Support Programs), is responsible for working with the broader PHC team to advance the strategic and operational priorities of the portfolio.

The Operations Consultant (Practice Support Programs) has a responsibility for supporting the overall coordination of the planning, development and implementation of the activities assigned under the direction of the Senior Director and Senior Medical Director for the Primary Health Care and Chronic Disease Management Network.

Location is flexible within the Province.


About You:

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Baccalaureate degree from a health discipline/health science field.
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Health Services Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience considered an asset
  • Minimum of 35 years working experience and responsibilities in a senior coordinator position or equivalent
  • Experience in quality and process improvement methodologies, such as LEAN/Six Sigma/Model for Improvement, considered an asset
  • Experience in palliative care settings/delivery of palliative care services considered an asset
  • Experience in planning, coordinating, delivery and evaluation of PHC and community based initiatives.
  • Experience within a health related environment preferred
  • Experience in a primary health care / communitybased setting preferred
  • Experience in program and service development, implementation and evaluation required
  • Knowledge of disease prevention, health promotion, chronic disease management, and a palliative approach to care preferred
  • Experience in competencybased professional development / learning and group facilitation considered an asset
  • Proven ability to work with a variety of stakeholder groups
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills'
  • Possession of a valid driver's license

Hours:


  • Permanent, Full Time (100%) Positions; 75 hours biweekly
  • Shifts may occasionally include evenings and weekends.

Compensation and Incentives:

$36.33- $45.41 Hourly
