Shift Timing:
Monday to Friday (5 pm to 1:30 am)

Full-time


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:


  • Assisting with Cleaninplace process
  • Assisting with, freezer and High Temperature/ Short Time machine, cleaning and sanitation
  • Utilizing the appropriate cleaning/ sanitation methods, clean in accordance to company standards, to perform daily cleaning including but not limited to: equipment, floors, pipes, tanks, tubs, and walls
  • Utilizing chemicals in a cautious and safe manner, and documenting the usage
  • Removing debris and garbage from food manufacturing plant
  • Assembling and dissembling including but not limited to: equipment, machines, and parts
  • Communicating with supervisor/ team leader if any equipment/tools need's attention or suffer from quality issues
  • Performing test for cleanliness
  • Performing cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned by Lead Hand Sanitation Assistant and Sanitation Manager

Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is an asset
  • Basic knowledge of Sanitation process for food manufacturing plant
  • Basic knowledge of chemical handling procedures with the required PPE
  • Ability to work with heavy machinery
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
