The BMC is looking for a
Reliability and Maintenance Coordinator who will contribute to the Engineering, Maintenance and Validation department by being responsible for purchasing mechanical parts and monitoring preventive maintenance contracts.

He or she is also responsible for managing the parts inventory and providing recommendations for continuous improvement to the maintenance department.

Under the supervision of the Supervisor, Maintenance, the
Reliability and Maintenance Coordinator will have the following responsibilities:

  • Order parts required for maintenance activities.
  • Monitor maintenance contracts with subcontractors.
  • Define maintenance requirements when integrating new equipment.
  • Prepare work instructions and preventive maintenance sheets, taking into account manufacturer standards and industry best practices.
  • Define the list of spare parts required for equipment preventive maintenance.
  • Set up and maintain an uptodate inventory of spare parts.
  • Participate in troubleshooting to support the maintenance team and continuous improvement projects.
  • Ensure compliance with and promote existing health and safety practices.
  • Participate in the Safe Task Analysis (STA) program for the maintenance group.
  • Participate in change controls and maintenancerelated investigations.

You are the person we are looking for if:

  • You have a college diploma in building mechanics, mechanical engineering or industrial maintenance.
  • You have at least 3 years' experience in a similar position. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • You have experience in maintenance and parts purchasing.
  • You have experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment.
  • You have a good knowledge of CMMS systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • You are fluent in French and have an intermediate level of English to communicate with outofprovince suppliers.
