is looking for a
Cross Dock Team Member to join our team based in our Edmonton distribution center Ave NW). The schedule is
Monday to Friday, 7:00 am till 3:30 pm.


The Cross-dock Team Member is primarily responsible for transferring inbound customer orders from a shipping truck into Spud delivery vans and ensuring that all used customer bins and return materials as well as cross docked vendor orders are loaded onto the trailer for transfer to the Spud facility in Calgary.

This position is also responsible for quality control of outbound customer orders, alerting the DC Manager to any damaged or poor-quality product.

This position reports directly to the Site Leader.

Responsibilities:


  • Dock and receive inbound shipments of customer orders, destined for delivery via Spud van.
  • Receive and load vendor orders that arrive in Edmonton on to the transfer van going to Calgary.
  • Load outbound orders into appropriate Spud van.
  • Palletize and pack dunnage (bins, FMJs, gel packs, milk bottles) for return trip to Spud Calgary.
  • Load dunnage into empty trailer.
  • Perform occasional quality control checks on incoming bins to ensure produce and dairy freshness and product integrity.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness.
  • Help all team members to excel.
  • Work hard and have fun.

Physical demands & working conditions:


  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs continuously
  • Ability to work on your feet all day, bending, leaning, crouching and walking
  • Ability to work for extended periods of time, and entire shifts in a refrigerated warehouse
