As a Field Coordinator, you will support our various field programs by resolving issues and communicating with internal customers.

Based in Prince George, you will mainly be responsible for providing and maintaining equipment from our remote equipment locker for Jacobs employees and subcontractors.

In addition, you will assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and clerical duties related to inventory control. Moreover, you will be involved in tracking and following up on equipment and vehicles requested from different locations across Canada.

This role will involve working independently while being supported by a team from our Calgary Office and other satellite locations across Canada to fulfill small equipment requests and transportation needs, including pickups from various vendors and suppliers.

You will play a key role in coordinating the movement of personnel conducting field studies alongside their equipment, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety standards. This position will commence as a 6-month contract role with potential for extension or conversion to a full-time position based on workload.

If located in British Columbia:
The base salary range for this role is $44,100 to $57,825. This range represents the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in British Columbia, considering factors such as work location, skills, experience, and education.

Here's what you'll need:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Work experience, certification, or degree in inventory management.
  • Familiarity with digital technology, including IOS and Android devices, GNSS receivers.
  • Knowledge of water quality equipment like Turbidity Meters, Sondes, Swoffer Meter, Electrofishers.
  • Experience with remediation equipment such as PID Monitors, Peristaltic Pumps, Water Level Meters.
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds.

Fluency in English (written and verbal) is essential.

Ideally, You'll Also Have:

  • 2 or more years of inventory experience.
  • Background in travel and logistics coordination.
  • Proven customer service and communication abilities.
  • Exposure to investigation and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of field testing equipment and accounting processes.
