Description
The Continuing Education department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR to teach the course INTRODUCTION TO CLINICAL TOOLS AND ACTIVITIES LA).


In this course, students learn the steps involved in the process of intervention, beginning with an assessment that focuses on clients' needs.

They learn to work with existing Intervention Plans and to create their own plans of developmental activities, as well as to choose appropriate clinical tools.

They will pay close attention to their communication, animation, and leadership skills while implementing activities.

To conclude the process, students evaluate their performance as well as the outcome of the intervention, and, if necessary, include suggestions for improvement.


Required Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related discipline and 2 years teaching experience.

Teaching experience in special care counselling or a related program such as counselling, human relations or inclusive education is an asset, and work experience with diverse client groups in the special care couselling field is required.

This course is taught in English; proficiency in English is required.
