What you'll do

  • Responsible for supporting import and export activities for all modes.
  • Liaise with Customs Broker(s) to address front end operational issues.
  • Support HS classifications, FTA renewals, and drawback claims.
  • Coordinate payments and audit invoices pertaining to Customs clearance.
  • Drive continuous improvements by developing KPIs /score cards.

What you bring

  • Postsecondary degree/diploma in business or international trade.
  • Certified Customs Specialist designation (mandatory), Certified Trade Compliance Specialist designation (preferred).
  • 58 years experience in Customs compliance and 23 years of leadership experience.
  • Knowledge / experience with freight forwarding and eManifest requirements.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical and communication skills.
  • Able to work in a fastpaced environment and ability to manage relationships with crossfunctional teams.
