Job Function_**:
Reporting to the Administration and Facilities Manager, the Relief Maintenance Work is responsible to support the maintenance of the organization's facilities.

- Attend general staff meetings and other meetings as requested (during or after working hours).
- Reports to supervisor if concerns around safety or program environments related to health and safety standards in facilities.
- Purchases and submits expense claims in a timely manner.

- Completes maintenance duties in an organized and timely fashion as per direction, checklists and Agency standards, including regular maintenance.
- Effectively schedules time to complete maintenance with programs to ensure it does not interfere with programming.
- Provides a weekly update as to tasks completed.
- Inspect and troubleshoot various equipment and systems as directed by supervisor.
- Addresses other small maintenance items in program to make valuable use of time.
- Obtains approval for larger projects and those requiring materials over $100 that were not previously identified through the scope of the project or repair.
- Plans work at program to ensure that mileage claims are fiscally responsible.
Qualifications
The Relief Maintenance Worker must possess a minimum of a high school education. A minimum of three years' experience in related roles considered an asset.
This position must have a valid Class 5 driver's license and be proficient in MS Office programs and other software.
