Wonderworld Montessori Academy - Metrotown, Burnaby B.C.
We offer an authentic Montessori Program practicing the core values of Maria Montessori's philosophy.

We strive to build an inclusive working environment and a long standing supportive community for our staff, parents, and children.

Wonderworld Montessori Academy has two locations: in Metrotown, Burnaby and Kerrisdale, Vancouver areas. Our Metrotown Burnaby location has a facility area of 13,948 sq. ft. in total, capable of hosting 161 children and 30 full-time employees at full capacity.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic AMI Montessori guides for our Primary classrooms at our Metrotown-Burnaby location for full time. We welcome you to join our growing team of exceptional educators.

PRIMARY GUIDE QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have an
AMI Primary Diploma:
Must have ECE or ECEA license and certification
Experience in Montessori classroom preferred
Current First Aid Certificate
Current Criminal Record Check
A passion for working with children
Excellent teaching skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with children, staff and parents
Exceptional classroom management, behavior management skills and organizational skills
Willingness to work collaboratively with staff and parents and create an inclusive learning environment
Highly responsible in ensuring a caring and safe educational environment for children
Demonstrate a sound understanding of the Montessori philosophy and child development
Display flexibility, accountability and integrity
Able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
Highly organized with a good work ethic

GUIDE'S SALARY:
$60,000 - $65,000/ year (Depending on experience)
