Job description

Order Selection:
Reviewing customer orders and determining the items and quantities required for each order.

Inventory Management:
Locating the products in the warehouse by using picking lists, electronic scanners, or other methods. This may involve operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.

Quality Control:
Inspecting the products for defects, damages, or discrepancies to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Reporting any issues to supervisors or quality control personnel.

Packaging and Labeling:
Properly packaging the products according to company standards and customer requirements. Affixing labels or barcodes to ensure proper identification and tracking.

Order Consolidation:
Gathering all items for each order and consolidating them in a designated area for further processing or shipping.

Documentation:
Maintaining accurate records of orders picked, quantities, and any discrepancies or errors encountered. Updating inventory management systems or databases as necessary.

Safety and Housekeeping:
Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries. Keeping the work area clean and organized.


Requirements:


  • Minimum 2 years work related experience preferably in an automotive/manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 2 years Reach truck license
  • Sound knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act guidelines and company policies
  • Good communication, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a quick paced environment
  • Works well under mínimal supervision
  • Alert to surroundings at all times
  • Grade 10 Education or equivalent work experience

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Vaughan, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
