How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?:

The Clinical Sleep Assistant facilitates the administrative aspects, and offers support in the storefront area as it pertains to CPAP therapy in a specific branch location, or a site under the supervision of a healthcare professional.

The incumbent will carry out all responsibilities while promoting safety and quality practices.

Committed to contributing towards a safe work environment by obeying safety procedures and policies, working and encouraging others to perform in a safe manner at all times. Reports unsafe occurrences and/or practices.

Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; and arranging for repairs. Contributes to the growth of Respiratory Homecare Solutions by liaising with medical professionals; providing information/literature to prospective clients; providing demonstration of products and services to prospective clients.

Provides friendly and helpful service to customers by greeting the public, providing specific information as it pertains to CPAP therapy. Assists with sales and maintenance of CPAP inventory for the branch. Assists with sales of CPAP supplies to walk-in clients when requiring specific education to client. Jointly booking CPAP appointments and follow up for clients at the Branch.

Contributes to team effort by working with other staff to achieve optimal customer service.

Participates in home testing for diagnosis purposes within the supervision of a healthcare professional.

Assists healthcare professionals with the completion of necessary processes and forms, assisting with the cleaning & maintenance of equipment during in-service to client; informs clients of the requirements to meet funding program criteria, and answer their questions.

Documents client care services by charting in client records. Facilitates payment by preparation of funding documents, and maintaining knowledge of funding systems. Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. Protects clients and employees by adhering to infection control policies and protocols.

Seeks to continuously improve the operation of the branch by evaluating processes and workflow, and participating in other quality improvement activities, as well as self growth and learning.

Other duties as required.

Participates on on-call as needed.

Are you a MATCH?:

College Certificate or Diploma in Medical Office Administration or medical background preferred.

Computer literate in Microsoft Office, ERP & Google systems with strong data entry skills and selling skills.

1-2 years of experience in general office practice
