Scope of Position

The Retail Operations Associate forms part of the Retail Operations team which provides support to the Retail Branch Network to assist in the delivery of exceptional member/customer experience.

Working under the supervision of the Manager, Retail Optimization and Compliance, the incumbent will assist with reports for Retail Branch activities, collecting and compiling data, and completing activities required in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Key deliverables for this position include problem solving for existing members and/or customers, review and vetting of personal accounts for operational excellence and assistance with the Branch Verification Binder Audit activities.

Major Responsibilities

Review various monthly Branch Reports, including but not limited to Security Reports, Cash Deposit Reports, and various Regulatory Reports, ensuring all required activities are completed in the requisite timeframe.
Review Monthly Branch Verification Binder Reports. Depending on the requirements of the Report

- complete and appropriately record the required activities
- cull the data for completion by the Retail Branch Teams
- assisting with the audit functions, report on the completion of Report activities by the Retail Branch Teams

Assist with the processing of information of the Compliance Department Report of Personal Onboarding.
Assist with data cleanse requirements identified in Reports, Merger Projects, Regulatory Compliance, etc.
Assist in Quality Assurance testing for requested Wealthview Builds or Projects as required.
On a rotating basis, reviews the New Customer Report for each Retail Branch for anomalies or trends and reports findings to the appropriate Retail Operations Manager
As a member of the Retail Operations Team, assists Branch Retail employees with process questions and vendor investigations, as required.
Assist with completion of Dashboard for OPEX, as required.
Cross trains and assume the duties and responsibilities of the Non-Personal Operations Associate in his/her absence
Assists the Manager, Retail Operations and Compliance and other members of the Retail Operations Team with the operations of the department, on request.

Qualifications

Education / Certifications / Experience

Post-Secondary education in a related discipline or related financial service experience
2 years' experience in a retail banking position

Knowledge / Skills

Knowledge of principals, practices, and techniques related to banking
Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements as they relate to the delivery of banking products and services
Strong competency in MS Office, particularly Excel
