The Role


CCBT is currently seeking a highly motivated Student Placement Co-ordinator with proven experience in Job and Co-op placement of both international and domestic students.

This role will be based at our Mississauga Campus and reports to our Chief Executive Officer.


The role is primarily, but not exclusively, focused on servicing the local market through relationship management with internal and external stakeholders.

The role is also responsible for handling direct prospective student enquiries and preliminarily assessing and preparing admission documents, including monitoring and administering the Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRMS) as required.


Key Tasks

  • Generate new student opportunities for Jobs and Coop placement.
  • Prepare and guide students for job and coop opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain specialist knowledge of education systems, qualifications (including pathways), admission requirements, and cultures for regions of responsibility.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the key influencers for students and key contacts including Canadian Government offices, agents, local institutions, and alumni.
  • Undertake regular auditing processes as required in compliance with CCBT's Policy & Procedures and Ministry regulations.
  • Provide advice to senior management on all issues relating to the local market and assist with the preparation of associated analysis of market data and/or market trends.
  • Monitor the market for developments, risks, and opportunities and build this information into the marketing and recruitment activities as appropriate.
  • Represent CCBT at marketing and recruitment Fairs targeting international and domestic students, educational institutions, and exhibitions or seminars.
  • Develop and nurture positive working relationships, including sharing of information, with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist and support the development and management of a diverse network of external contacts including agents, sponsoring bodies, educational institutions, and government bodies within the region.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:


  • Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate discipline;
  • At least 2 years of marketing, recruitment and placement experience in a Career or Community college.

Desirable:


  • Familiarity with Canadian government regulatory requirements related to international education
  • Knowledge of IT and related student administration/finance systems
  • Customer Relationship Management System (CRMS) understanding (advantage)
  • IT Skills associated with Microsoft Office, especially with Excel

$35,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
