Specialist, Digital Network, Astral Media Outdoor
Job location: 87 Ontario St W, Montreal (Quebec)
Salary:
Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week
Name and description of the hiring department:
Reporting to the Operations, Maintenance and Digital Networks Manager, the Senior Digital Networks Specialist is responsible for day-to-day technical support for all digital panels across Astral's national display network.
Responsabilities:
- Provide monitoring and support for the entire digital network
- Support technicians on the road across Canada
- Document and track issues using the ticket system
- Follow up on issues with different vendors
- Document procedures and train technicians on the road
- Maintain digital board inventory
- Repair and maintain digital boards
- Perform all other related tasks
Qualifications required:
- DEC in Computer Science, Network Management
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Good priority management
- Problem solving skills
- Proactive and autonomous
- Team spirit
Technical knowledge:
- WAN, SQL Server, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IIS, FTP, Proxy, NAT, PRTG, ConnectWise, VNC and RDP
- Mastering the Control of local or extended networks (hub, bridges, switches, VLAN, router, CISCO, 4G
- Excellent knowledge of Windows (XP/WIN7) and Linux (CentOS and Ubuntu) systems
- Excellent knowledge of computer components (CPU, Memory, SSD, etc.
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
