CONCRETE LABOURER


GCS General Contracting Services has immediate openings for experienced skilled labourers for concrete and landscape remediation work in the Edmonton area.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Labourer scopes;
  • Remediation of landscaping in areas of concrete work;
  • Quality control
  • Shoveling and digging;
  • Backfilling;
  • Participate in site safety including prejob orientations, tailgate meetings, ensure all safety paperwork is accurate and complete;
  • Driving company trucks and trailers to move materials / equipment;
  • Other labour tasks as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • 2+ years of construction labour experience;
  • Hard working
  • Safety conscious
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting +50lbs;
  • Strong work ethic;
  • Ability to work in a fast
- paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.


SAFETY CERITIFICATIONS:


  • CSTS 2020 (required)
  • Ground Disturbance Level 2 would be an asset
