Clinical Development Specialist - VL
, to be located in the Greater
Toronto Area**.


As a Clinical Development Specialist in the Greater Toronto Area, you will be responsible for enhancing our collaborative relationships and provide primary support for our clinical customers within the interventional radiology department.

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager - XR/VL, you will work closely with our VL group, and our sales and marketing teams to reach mutually beneficial partnerships and execution of business initiatives in relation to the clinical environment.

This position collaborates effectively with CMSCA, corporate, and regional resources to achieve success and growth with customer satisfaction.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide VL portfolio and 4D CT Product/Modality knowledge for clinical marketing, case studies, potential white papers and marketing campaigns.
  • You will be an integral team player in the Sales Support Process of our complete line of diagnostic imaging VL systems to hospitals
  • Provide supplementary Clinical Applications support, where availability permits
  • Show Site and Luminary Site development
  • Consistently deliver highlevel quality of education and training to both internal and external customers
  • Utilize product knowledge to effectively position features and capabilities that represent solutions to customer needs
  • Develop and update product line collateral and presentation content on an asneeded basis
  • Provide additional training for Account Managers on the features and specifications of the VL product line, to include 4D CT
  • Develop product line presentations and conduct training meetings for the sales force on product solution positioning strategies with and for customers
  • Work together with Sr. Product Manager to perform product demonstrations, Site Visits and follow up with the Account Managers
  • Provide support to Account managers / Sales Team on strategy and product offerings
  • Assist with the quote tender response and validate the tender documentation in collaboration with Account Managers, Product Manager and Regional Sales Directors
  • Communicate market information effectively to/from the field including competitor data
  • Communicate effectively with members of sales/marketing/service team to maximize sales potential and communicate leads to relevant colleagues
  • Generates, records, and maintains customer profiles, including key decisionmakers
  • Ensures knowledge of and compliance with Company policies and quality processes
  • Knowledge and understanding of all Global Privacy and Anti-Competition Policies and operates within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int'l Law is broken
  • Adheres to all CMSCA polices
  • Additional duties as assigned by CMSCA

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Minimum 5 years of both VL and CT clinical experience as a registered technologist in a hospital or clinic environment and or as a VL or CT Applications Specialist
  • Registry required with provincial radiography Association and CAMRT
  • Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • May require more than 50% travel time
  • Previous classroom teaching and presentation experience preferred
  • Proven experience in training and / or mentoring other employees
  • MS Office software including PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Strong customer interface and training skills
  • Previous leadership experience a plus
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Effectively and appropriately displays professional skills necessary to manage interpersonal relationships with team members, colleagues and customers.
  • Works in a wellorganized manner, consistently meeting customer and Canon Medical time requirements
  • Strives for constant improvement; inspires and motivates others
  • Submit for a Police Criminal Records Check (PCRC) and Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC)
  • Must provide proof of uptodate immunizations
