Salary:
$20-$24/hr, dependent on experience

Responsibilities

Grinding and painting equipment
Cleaning vehicle and equipment cabs
Pressure washing pickup trucks, dump trucks and heavy equipment
Polish wheels
Cleaning and organizing the shop and yard
Assist team with welding, cutting and fabrication
Assist mechanics with oil changes, tire changes, and various repairs on a wide variety of heavy equipment and trucks
Other duties will be assigned as required

Desired Skills and Experience

Prior experience working in a shop and mechanical environment is preferred
Experience with a wide variety of hand and power tools, mechanically inclined
Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Must be safety conscious
Excellent team player
Strong attention to detail
Great communication skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Must be enthusiastic and willing to learn
Must be punctual and personable
Must obtain WHMIS, Working at Heights and Occupational Health and Safety training
