JOB SUMMARY:

Acting as an ambassador for the mission, vision, values and goals of the Finance Team, the Intermediate Financial Analyst, Capital and Treasury will:

Provide leadership, guidance and oversight related to the Hospital's capital planning and reporting including project accounting ,and Foundation granting support
Provide support with hospital's treasury functions including short term and long term cash flow forecasting, asset investment recommendations, and related financing recommendations
Maintain the fixed asset and deferred capital grant/donation ledger, continuity schedules, capital project accounts, and reconcile monthly the detailed subsidiary ledger to the general ledger
Prepare all year end working papers, schedules and reports related to capital and treasury for the external year end audit
Prepare and present adhoc reports on financial information to Senior Leadership, providing valuable insights and recommendations
Identify, develop and implement process improvements through simplification and automation, to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness

QUALIFICATIONS:

Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, with a focus on capital planning, reporting, and treasury functions within a healthcare or related setting
Proficiency with Microsoft (MS) Office, with a strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
Known for being results driven, with a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to make decisions and solve complex problems
Proven track record with building and maintaining crossfunctional relationships is a necessity along with excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills, data driven insights, and a proven attention to detail and accuracy
Postsecondary education in Accounting or Financial Management and a

Professional Accounting Designation:
CPA/CA/CMA/CGA (completed or in progress)
