Accounts Receivable Clerk - Lower Sackville, Canada - Payzant Building Products Ltd.
Description
As an accounts receivable clerk, you will be responsible for supporting the credit manager in daily activities including reconciling customer accounts, preparing month end reports, creating customer accounts and reviewing customer credit and keeping management informed of any potential credit concerns.
This role is part-time (approx. 20 hours per week)
Major Responsibilities
- Work in compliance with laws and regulations, attend and complete all required health and safety training, report all accidents and safety hazards observed. Take every precaution reasonable to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
- Oversee and ensure all customer payments are being processed correctly and reconciling to accounts.
- Support the credit manager in preparing any monthend reporting.
- Manage requests for our customer loyalty program.
- Working with customers to ensure accurate billing and answer account inquiries.
- Ensuring new customer or job accounts are created and set up in a timely manner.
- Interacting with various credit reporting agencies as needed.
- Performs other duties as requested.
