What does your day at GIP look like?


Reporting to the supervisor, the Snow Plow Driver will work from either the Kemptville or Johnstown yard(s) by completing various snow removal tasks.


Specific Job Duties include:

  • Operates the Plow Truck, spreading material and plowing snow.
  • Clears snow along Highway corridors
  • Conducts general maintenance and visual inspection of the vehicle
  • Performs daily checks and maintains a logbook

Enough about us, let's talk about you.

  • A valid AZ or DZ license is required
  • Manual transmission experience is preferred
  • Min. 1 year of professional truck driving experience is preferred
  • AZ-DZ or busdriving School graduates will also be considered
  • Clean driving record and CVOR abstract required
  • Onthejob plow training is provided for this role
  • Must be available days, evenings, nights, weekends
