Electrical Apprentice


Oakpark Powerline Services is seeking Level 1 2 or 3 Electrical Apprentices to work on a Ground Rods project throughout Manitoba.

This position will be directly supervised by a Journeyman Electrican.

Job Duties:

  • Assisting in testing, inspecting, maintaining and installing ground rods
  • Recording data using a tablet
  • Trenching and installing new ground wire if needed
  • Connecting the grounds, and recording final data

Requirements:


  • Class 5 license
  • Positive team mate
  • This position will be home every night, however the company operates other work out of town. Ability to work out of town for future jobs is considered an asset.
  • Enrollment as a registered electrical apprentice (Level 3)
Oakpark Powerline is located on Highway 75, 5 miles south of St. Norbert.
