Description

Responsibilities:

  • Complete all work orders in an efficient manner, including small repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, etc
  • Perform morning walkthroughs of the building to ensure systems are in working order
  • Complete scheduled preventative maintenance plans
  • Complete empty suite maintenance including, installation of new flooring (carpet tiles and vinyl plank flooring), new baseboard installation, etc.
  • Assist with special seasonal work including, snow removal, deicing, set up outdoor furniture, power washing, etc.
  • Communicate with residents, employees, trades in regards to maintenance concerns
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
  • Provide excellent customer service to tenants and address any concerns or complaints promptly

Skills:


  • Proficient in using CMMS software for tracking and managing maintenance activities
  • Excellent problemsolving skills to identify and resolve maintenance issues
  • Knowledge of building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.
  • Good communication skills to interact with tenants, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment

What you will offer:


  • Minimum two years building maintenance experience, multiunit residential experience a definite asset
  • Experience with basic carpentry and experience installing different flooring mediums
  • Ability to lift, carry, and climb as needed
  • Ability to be on call and rotate weekends
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both written and verbally
