About the role
Our growing team is looking for a Data Retention Coordinator

What you'll do here:

Ensuring compliance of the organization to data retention requirements by:

Managing the review and approval of the data retention rules with the lines of business and Legal and Compliance.
Coordinating the efforts of multiple stakeholder teams in:
The disposal of the data.
The exception management and the evidence gathering.
Ensuring that the disposal of data was done appropriately, according to retention rules and IFC policies.
Gathering and storing data records deletion evidence for audit purposes.
Assisting auditors in getting the required information when needed.
Providing metrics, status reports and dashboards.
Reviewing and following up on exceptions records to ensure their continued validity.

What you bring to the table:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a coordinator

Understanding of IT systems, databases and processes.
PowerBI skillset will be a valuable asset.
Great organisational skills.
Autonomy and fast learning.
Good communication skills and diplomacy.
Knowledge of the insurance industry, an asset.
Familiarity with Quebec Law 25 is an asset.
Comfortable working in complex environment.
Can deliver even when requirements are fuzzy or gray.

Bilingual

Need to interact regularly with Englishspeaking clients and colleagues across the country
