Position:

School Aged Childcare Worker
Description: School Aged Educators at BACI work in a dynamic team environment to plan and organize activities for children of school age.

School Aged Educators work directly with children to stimulate and develop their intellectual, physical and emotional growth.**Roles & Responsibilities:

Education & Qualifications:

Early Childhood Education Certificate, Special Needs Certificate and School Aged Certification preferred
First Aid, CPR, and TB test clearance required. COVID19 vaccination required.

Knowledge & Skills:

Practical experience working with children requiring additional support in inclusive settings

Practical experience working with children 5-12 years
Understanding and commitment to the principles of inclusion
Ability to develop rapport with families and children including respectful and non-judgmental interactions. - Good written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work with families, professionals and staff
Ability to understand and follow procedure
Computer skills required.

POSITION:
Regular Part Time Childcare Worker

LOCATION:
Burnaby BC

SALARY:
$ $21.50
**HOURS: 30.0 hours per week Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-9:00am and 2:00pm-6:00pm split shifts.
