  • Belgrave**Powerhouse is a thirdparty retail services group that specializes in fashion merchandising and accessories. We work with different clients such as Levi, Kenneth Cole, Spanx and more. Our clients hire us to complete merchandising in their stores such as Walmart, Mark's Work Wearhouse, and other retailers. We then contract the work out to selfemployed experienced visual merchandisers.

**Full Time - Monday

  • Friday**Hours 7:30am
  • 4:00pm or 8:00am4:30pm (shift times may vary)

Position Overview


The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all incoming shipments and warehousing of goods.

Processes orders and oversees cycle of order fulfilment. Ensuring that supplies, stock, materials, packages, and/or products are processed through the delivery and/or warehouse system efficiently and safely.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the flow of inbound and outbound freight while staying abreast of daily priorities and weekly transportation targets
  • Ensure carrier compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Analyze lane data, and ontime performance, and thirdparty carriers to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction
  • Prepare paperwork and assemble orders for shipment, including verifying information against bills of landing shipment, invoices, orders, and other records; coordinating schedules with shipping and companies to schedule trucks.
  • Complete required paperwork and data entry to maintain an uptodate Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Direct and organize logistics activities such as obtaining shipment rates, selecting 3PL, tracking and expediting shipments, and solving any discrepancy of quality, quantity.
  • Communicate with carriers, and the customers to resolve any discrepancies
  • Schedule pick up times for all deliveries of products
  • Proactively communicate service risks to customers to provide proper resolution
  • Support and maintain corporate quality, health and safety standards, processes, policies, practices, and work instructions.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Responsible for scheduling transportation service considering existing business demands
  • Work closely with account customer service rep when coordinating truck confirmation and carriers
  • Order and schedule trucks with a view to ensure that these are available for loading prior to the scheduled shipping date. This includes arranging arrival and departure times and checking the yard to confirm arrival of truck to site
  • Cancel trucks as the need arise
  • Ensure Bills of Lading match shipment and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Work with Shipping Supervisor and Group Leaders on loading, delivery, pickups, and orders for trucks
  • Track trucks and followup with dealers to ensure delivery was received and that they are satisfied with service provided

Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • PC computer skills required
  • Previous Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience required
  • Previous warehouse experience required
  • Strong math and reading skills
  • Strong analytical aptitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Ability to pay attention to detail to ensure accuracy
