What we offer

Job Description:

Under the supervision of the Treasury Director, the Treasury Analyst is responsible for analyzing and reporting the consolidated forecast, and actual cash flow package to senior management, support the front-office FX processes, equipment financing, trade finance and treasury support


Cash Flow Forecasting

  • Partner with company's business units to prepare weekly cash forecasts and other cash and borrowing projection models;
  • Prepare consolidated cash flow forecast/budget package and presentation;
  • Provide senior management insights into cash variances versus prior forecasts and periods;

Treasury Reporting and Financial Analysis

  • Prepare metrics to monitor and measure the working capital and cash flow efficiency related to operational areas of focus;
  • Prepare working capital analysis based on forecasts and budget submissions;
  • Prepare the Treasury Reports and financial analyses and presentations sent to senior management;

Foreign Exchange Front-Office

  • Assist with financial risk management by identifying/recommending strategies to minimize foreign currency, interest rate and commodity exposures;
  • Support FX front office processes including loading FX trades and rates, maintaining settlement instructions and updating FX mandates with counterparty banks;

Equipment financing, Trade Finance and Treasury Support

  • Assist the Treasury Director with the execution of equipment financing programs;
  • Coordinate ad hoc requests from business units e.g. obtain bank release, identify financed assets, etc.;
  • Assist in executing standby letters of credit, export letters of credit, performance bonds and similar instruments and ensures proper reporting;
  • Participate to adhoc Treasury projects as needed.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting;
  • CPA, CTP or CFA is a plus;
  • 35 years of relevant experience in a similar environment is an asset;
  • Experience with Foreign Exchange, Commodity markets and trade finance is a plus;
  • Experience with a treasury management system, preferably FIS Integrity, Refinitiv Eikon, FXall or 360T and other treasury platform is a plus;

Skills and know-how

  • Selfstarter with the ability to identify and solve problems;
  • Understanding of cash flow concepts/principles and forecasting a must;
  • Analytical and detail oriented, and demonstrates integrity with Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel modeling;
  • Demonstrate a high level of selfmotivation, autonomy, flexibility and organization skills;
  • Strong ability to prioritize and capacity to multitask;
  • Client service oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
