ABOUT THE ROLE
Jotform is expanding to Vancouver and is now seeking a
Security Analyst in our brand new Vancouver office. We are looking for someone who is experienced in security investigations and incident response. You'll be part of a global team operating across multiple time zones supporting our customer facing SaaS product.


Here's what you will be doing:

  • Work as part of our global Security team on a variety of operational duties and process improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze security logs from our production platforms to develop better threat detection
  • Analyze incidents and events captured in the case management data for trends, patterns, or actionable information. Facilitate review meetings as necessary.
  • Review incidents and events captured in the case management data after closure for investigative sufficiency and timeliness.

Education & Work Experience & Technical Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Security/Technology or in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of handson experience in Cybersecurity, InfoSec, Security Engineering, Network Engineering with emphasis in incident response, threat hunting, and cyber security operations.
  • Handson technical skills in Linux and SQL as well as at least one scripting language such as Python or Bash.
  • Experience with log aggregation and SIEM technologies. Experience with the Elastic stack is a plus.
  • At least one standard industry certification such as GSEC,CISA/CISM/ CISSP/CSCS/CEH or equivalent certifications or willingness to obtain within 8 months
  • Ability to move quickly in a fastpaced and fluid environment, as well as influence peers and stakeholders to prioritize issues as needed highly proficiency creating and presenting management reports
  • Excellent command of English
  • Excellent problems solving skills
