Job Summary:

The Shipper & Receiver performs the logistics activities at the Oshawa location.

The Shipper & Receiver is focused on managing the incoming and outgoing items linked to customer orders relevant to all aspects of the company using our custom software.


Major Responsibilities:


  • Performing various physical duties related to the shipping & receiving function, including lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Loading and Unloading trucks and containers
  • Effective use of equipment according to provided training
  • Assisting in picking, packing, processing, auditing and wrapping customer orders
  • Document preparation and inputting customer orders into a custom software system
  • Conformance to departmental and company standards with the intention of bringing up ideas for continuous improvement
  • Follow department procedures to ensure accuracy of orders and ensure zero product delinquency
  • Create labels as necessary and neatly package finished product for delivery or distribution
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area and department
