Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk on a permanent basis at our Home Office in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.


Who we are:


What you'll do:


You will work as part of a team with three other Accounts Payable Clerks, who are responsible for reconciling accounts of suppliers.

You will also provide support to individuals in the Accounting Technician role, as they resolve discrepancies and clear system mismatches on Agro direct supplier accounts.


As part of this work:

  • You will receive and respond to supplier correspondences appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • You will work closely with FCL commodities and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate receiving and matching of invoices against the purchase order details in the system and address discrepancies
  • You will review outstanding supplier accounts in debit balance monthly, coordinate with buyers and our credit team, and request payment for outstanding amounts from suppliers as required.
  • You will prepare journal entries and payable adjustments as required.
  • You will key data, scan, and attach back up into the system. You will request stop payments on cheques
  • You will distribute mail and generated reports to key stakeholders
  • You will reconcile accounts payable clearing accounts monthly.
  • Other duties as assigned
